The left leg and foot are made of a transparent resin to emphasise neighbouring cloths or jewellery. Paul Gallis designed the exhibition "Het Koloniaaltheater"

I used photographs dating from arounds 1900 and drawings out of the collection of the tropical institute to find the right position and composition. The hands and the head are made on the basis of a lifecast.
